Job Summary:
The Bank Teller/Customer Service Representative will complete deposits, withdrawals, and other
financial interactions while providing excellent customer service to all customers. The expectation is to
establish lifelong relationships with our customers based on knowledge and trust. Responsible for
providing high level customer service to bank customers. Answer customer questions while listening and
identify how to serve and work towards resolving the issues at hand.
Job Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- Handles transactions for customers, including but not limited to check cashing, deposits,
withdrawals, transfers, loan payments and cashier’s checks. - Evaluates checks to verify endorsements, dates, identification of persons receiving payments,
bank names, and overall legality of the documents. - Identify customer needs and directs to customer service representatives as needed.
- Balances all monies in cash drawers at the end of the day.
- Assists in working night depository bags and envelopes.
- Maintains a work area that ensures the safety of all negotiables and confidential records.
- Assist Lead Teller in preparing monies for deposit or shipment to branch banks or the Federal
Reserve Bank. - Assist Lead Teller in ordering cash supply to meet daily needs when needed.
- Assist with answering incoming calls and connecting customer to appropriate person
- Assist with letting customers into their safe deposit box
- Assist with balancing the cash vault and ATM
- Assist with customer service responsibilities such as but not limited to opening and closing
accounts, account maintenance, debit card issues, online banking and bill-pay

Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Cash-handling experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- May need to stand for long periods of time.
