Job Summary:
This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service while opening and maintaining deposit accounts, resolving customer issues and identifying opportunities for additional products and services that meet the customers’ needs. The Customer Service Representative establishes strong relationships while ensuring compliance with all banking regulations, policies and procedures.
Job Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner
- Perform duties as assigned to include but are not limited to opening, closing and maintaining deposit accounts, issuing stop payments, initiating wires and ATM/Debit card disputes
- Possess and maintain a full understanding of FDIC regulations and compliance rules as it relates to opening both personal and business accounts
- Demonstrates composure, sensitivity and professionalism
- Assist on the teller line as needed
Education/Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to complete task within an established timeframe
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Ability to perform tasks with reliability, quickly and accurately
- Ability to effectively manage time and responsibilities
- Effectively communicate orally, in writing and with written procedures
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
